A rendezvényt Erős Gábor, a térség országgyűlési képviselője nyitotta meg köszöntőjével, amiben büszkén beszélt a dorogi fiatal sportolókról, majd dr. Tittmann János, Dorog polgármestere a hagyományőrzés fontosságáról és a példamutatásról osztotta meg gondolatait.
